摘要: This research aims to understand how different approaches of interaction between employees of buyer-suppliers can influence knowledge acquisition and innovation capability of the buyer firms. Based on a survey data from 278 Chinese manufacturing firms, the results suggest that both formal and informal interaction are positively associated with knowledge acquisition, which will then influence the firm’s innovation capability, and that the indirect effects of interactions on innovation capability are moderated by knowledge application.
